Confidentiality agreements

When the University of Copenhagen (UCPH) collaborates with an external party it may be necessary to clarify confidentiality issues.

Confidentiality concerning exchanges of knowledge

If an outside party and UCPH want to exchange confidential information confidentiality agreements must be drawn up. These agreements are known as Non-Disclosure Aggreements (NDA) or Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDA), and can be defined with relative precision.

UCPH has decided that the non-disclosure of an external party's confidential information shall be restricted to a maximum of three years after project completion unless special circumstances dictate that the period should be extended.

If you have questions about confidentiality in connection with a collaboration agreement with the University of Copenhagen, you are welcome to contact the Tech Transfer Office.
