Agreements with external parties

The University of Copenhagen wants to make it as easy as possible for companies and other external parties to collaborate with our researchers. However, before initiating a collaboration, the parties must enter a written agreement. And, as a public institution, the University of Copenhagen is subject to a number of legal provisions that such an agreement must take into account.

There are several different types of agreements depending on the nature of the collaboration. Below you will find information on the various relevant agreements. The Tech Transfer Office manages all agreements concerning intellectual property rights (IPR). Agreements not concerning IPR are managed by the faculties' local administrative units.

You are always welcome to contact the local units or the Tech Transfer Office. They will do their best to answer your questions in a timely manner. See contact details on the right.
