EU Projects – University of Copenhagen

EU Projects

The EU is one of the largest sources of funding for research projects involving universities and the private sector. The University of Copenhagen has worked on EU projects with more than 600 companies from Denmark and abroad and experience shows that when companies take part in an EU project once, they will want to do so again.

The EU's resources are mainly concentrated in the big framework programme Horizon 2020 for research projects involving the private sector and the universities. Read more about Horizon 2020, application rounds and deadlines, on the University of Copenhagen’s EU pages.

Collaboration and project funding for applications

The University's EU Office offers advice and administrative support for all projects that somehow involve researchers from the University of Copenhagen.

The EU Office, or the local units in the faculties, helps with both the application stage and to manage the grant.

The EU funds various forms of collaboration between the private sector and the University. Read more about the forms of collaboration here.

Companies can also apply to have the costs associated with drawing up an EU application covered.
